WebServer question (right group?)

hello.

I am a very very beginner with Oracle WebServer.

I wish to know if the following is normal.

I have a table. I have built and compiled a procedure that put some fields of the table in a nice <table>. I click on the proper link on an html page and it works all right.

then I update the table directly from Oracle, I add records, I delete records, I edit records... that sort of things.

then I click again on the link. what happen is that I see a page with the records like they were prior to the modification (and I don't like this).

but, if I recompile the procedure, then I see the <table> with the "right" records.

so, where is the dinamicity? or did I missed something?

and if you can suggest me some good documentatio/tutorials you'll be welcome. the form I work for buyed WebServer without paper documentation.
