The transferable option on the parent end does not have any effect downstream. However, making the child end non-transferable will only be enforced through forms...it has no effect on the database. Actually, Oracle allows primary key columns to be updateable. You have to restrict the update on a column via a trigger. Received on Fri Nov 14 1997 - 00:00:00 CET
