 Our new interactive SQL tool, Codfish, has entered a final beta period. It's Preview Edition is publicly available (until September, 15). The Lite version of CodfishSQL remains available and FREE without any date limit. For those who hadn't seen it yet, CodfishSQL shows the data from SQL queries in an SQLBrowser window, similar to interfaces to other Windows database tools. It also can export data to text format; and you can change the looks of the grid and produce great looking reports (without having to use hard to learn SET options; just a WYSYWYG technology).

And you can run PL/SQL procedures and watch DBMS_OUTPUT messages in our grid (or see compilation errrors).

The full version fo CodfishSQL also allows you to:
- help window with SQL help integrated with our editor

• produce graphics (including 2D and 3D versions) of your queried data
• DB Explorer window, where you can:
  • examine object's;
  • create new objects;
  • find objects / attributes
  • .... (go and have a look!)

and what are the objects: tables, views, synonyms, snapshots, snapshot logs, sequences, database links, rollback segments, tablespaces, roles, profiles, .....

And in our TunaSQL tool, we started a Preview Program with a demo available until October,30. TunaSQL a tuning tool for Oracle 7.x and 8.0.

Requirements: all our tools run in Windows 95 or Windows NT 3.51 or above, with the appropriate Oracle's SQL*Net (32 bits version).

How are they developed: all our tools were created using Microsoft Visual C++ 5.0 with Oracle's OCI. Using OCI gives us the flexibilitiy to simulate all the runtime environments in our TunaSQL application, and a high performance tool in our CodfishSQL. Received on Tue Aug 05 1997 - 00:00:00 CEST
