PRO-C and LONG data > 64K ?

Does anybody know how to manipulate LONG data > 64K in length using PRO-C in Oracle 7.3.2?
I want my C program to create and manipulate text strings of arbitrary length (includeing > 64K) .The best I've been able to do is use VARCHAR[65333] in my C program. LONG VARCHAR seems unsupported. Received on Tue Aug 05 1997 - 00:00:00 CEST
