A similar problem we've had is with the FORMS45_PATH variable under Win95. Libraries and called forms were not being found, even though the full path had been added to the variable. The solution we found was to strip out many of the existing demo paths in the variable.
It seems to be therefore that there is a limit to the length of this variable.
