Those who had worked both on ORACLE as well as INGRES can answer my question. I want to know the major differences between the above mentioned databases.
i) What are the advantages of INGRES6.x over ORACLE 7.x ii) What are the advantages of ORACLE 7.x over INGRES 6.x
How both of them work in distributed environment (w.r.t. OLTP).Which is
better,in what
aspect.
