Run Report on the Server

Does anybody know if there is a way to start a report running on the server from the client? I guess the real question is can the Oracle Server kick off another process i.e. r25run32? We have an agent that we could use for this but would rather let Oracle do it. The environment is Unix with SGI's on both ends. Oracle versions are: RDBMS 7.3... and Reports 2.5...
