I upgraded to Oracle Forms 4.5.7.1.8 and that has appeared to fix the problem. BUT - now I'm getting developer GPF's when I'm on a canvas, double-click on the properties and navigate for a little while, then I get this:

F45DES caused a general protection fault in module TK23WIN.DLL at 0019:000003c2. Registers:

After I restart the developer, I may start getting them again. I run RUNforms and eventually I get this GPF:

F45RUN caused a general protection fault in module SQL18WIN.DLL at 0003:0000aae5. Registers:

EAX=56c7000a CS=396f EIP=0000aae5 EFLGS=00000216 EBX=01170000 SS=0d87

I can keep restarting and then everything slows down and a lot of swapping starts occurring and eventually I have to reboot my machine. I am running the 16 bit version.
