Heartland Software has announced that Volume 2 of its 4-volume video series "Learning Oracle Power Objects" is available and has begun shipping. Each volume in the series consists of an 85-90 minute video and an instructional workbook.  

Volume 2 deals with a variety of topics, including Oracle Basic, recordsets, master-detail relationships and business rule enforcement. It builds on Volume 1 and shows the developer both the scope of Oracle Basic and how Basic is used to interact with OPO's objects. Masterdetail  relationships are explored while the student learns to use embedded forms, repeaters, and grids. There are plenty of visual examples and fundamental concepts such as recordset manipulation are emphasized. Descriptions of all four volumes can be found at www.heartlnd.com. The remaining two volumes will become available during the next few weeks and are orderable now.
