| Dear group,
| What I am trying to find is a way to protect our tape in case it get
| lost during the transportation.
| While we are reviewing the option of RMAN encryption, Transparent data
| encryption seems also fit our needs.

| Now my question is:
| Which one is better, any comments?
| Let me know
| Thanks

RMAN encryption protects your backup sets. TDE protects your online data files.

2 different things and purposes.
