Seems like several utilities are linked to both 32-bit and 64-bit. I installed Oracle 64-bit on an openSuSE 64-bit and got several link problems. Had to install 32-bit versions of glic-devel and gcc (maybe also aio, can't remember). Things, including non-Oracle stuff, seems to be running OK.

There was a MetaLink article, which I can't find right now, from Oracle which said something about reading the installation very carefully about 32-bit libraries. I found some stuff for RHEL 3, but not about RHEL 4 or SuSE. Received on Wed May 02 2007 - 19:09:51 CDT
