Shut Oracle down, unmount the raid (and comment it out in /etc/vfstab) then break the mirror and arrange /etc/vfstab to use only one disk.

Do upgrade to that one disk (the other is a "backup"). Mount the raid and test.
If it works attach the "backup" disk as a mirror... otherwise fallback to "backup"
