Fedora is _not_ a Redhat distibution.
I see Fedora primarily as a playground to test new stuff. personally i wouldn't even think about installing Oracle on Fedora. For production systems use RHEL4 if you can afford the support fee, if not or for testing and personal use the redhat clone CentOS4. i have no problems with these distributions. they simply work. i don't like Suse or Debian, but that's just my personal taste. I was told, Oracle works on these too.
