To what possible end? What will it mean to anyone? Why should anyone care?

When I buy a hammer I don't ask which company has sold the most hammers. When I buy a file cabinet I don't ask which company made the most. A databases is a tool.
If a product does the job that is what matters. The number of end-users, servers, CPUs, licenses, whatever ... so what!

And please apologize for your inability to articulate your thoughts without resorting to adolescent obscentities. Thank you.
