Disagree.
The 10g installer is completely revamped and rewritten in XML instead of Java. It is highly unlikely the 9i installer will still work on a system with the 10g installer on it. You could try to use the 10g installer to install 9i (you already *had* to use the 10g installer to install the 9.2.0.6 patch), but likely you need to uninstall and reinstall everything, 9i first, followed by 10g.
