Yes. Going from RAID 5 to SAME (1+0) he will lose about 35 - 40% of his effective storage. As you suggest, upping from 8 to 10g will give him the performance boost without the loss of storage. A much preferable alternative, by my thinking. Received on Thu Jun 02 2005 - 17:59:55 CDT
