We are running 9.2.0.6 on Solaris 64-bit and have found it's fairly clean, meaning no issues affecting any functionality we use. I can't speak for the release for AIX, so I'd do as suggested and read up on the bugs fixed, bugs introduced and how those would affect you. I'd definitely patch your server to 9.2.0.4, if you don't go to 9.2.0.6 for whatever reason. We ran 9.2.0.4 quite a while before patching to 9.2.0.6 and it was very stable and reliable.
