Having the same platform, but with HACMP because of RAC. There are two quite nasty issues, see:

  Installed Patch List:

  1. Patch 3256015 applied on Tue Mar 15 20:44:54 GMT+01:00 2005 [ Base Bug(s): 3256015 ]
  2. Patch 4074633 applied on Sat Mar 12 18:45:03 GMT+01:00 2005 [ Base Bug(s): 4074633 ]

The bug 4074633 is about an excessive consumption of CPU resources after application of 9.2.0.6 (excessive means: eats all cpu even without any load), and the second one is a big number of ORA-07445s errors occurring after 9.2.0.6 (there is a bug in CBO that is causing this). Both of these patches were 100% mandatory for us and without them using of 9.2.0.6 wouldn't be possible. However, our 9.2.0.6 production looks good now. Well, with an exception of the Logminer, which is not working at all and we're still working with the Oracle support on this (though it doesn't look like we're heading towards the solution for this. :-().
