Hardly. Some of us enjoy a little scotch, neat thank you, while bantering. I take this approach because I know it is what is really happening in a lot of firms that are looking for senior talent. Better to get that perspective from me here for free than to get it in the form of net getting called for interviews. Here there is no pain.

I have one customer still running Oracle 5 on two Apollos so I'm not quite what you imagine. At the same time, if I take the position of caring about the individual, rather than the corporation, to stay on a job where you are keeping those Apollos running is a suicide mission.
