Well that was an interesting fist fight. It's a pity that the employee can't gain these sort of insights before submitting his credentials to the mincer. I know where I would be happier, I have a life and interests outside the office, as I think any well balanced individual should have.  

Also, the comments that deride businesses for running old versions of software are ill considered. Wake up please. I would like to say 'get your head from out of your ass' but that would be too offensive. A percentage of organisations running old versions is fact in this industry. Most are happy to be supported within the limits of what they are running...fact. We make them aware of the risks, they accept it.
