Howdy,

If it is just about the frequency, you can get that by adding ARCHIVE_LAG_TARGET=900
to your spfile - this would make your system log-switch every 15 Minutes. See Oracle Doc on that if you like: http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B10501_01/server.920/a96536/ch19.htm
