Seems to be than right way is to set up Oracle Heterogenious services via ODBC.

But all my attempts doesn't produce any positive result. So I want to know -

For your information, I tried to use both iODBC and unixODBC with FreeTDS.

Did you actually purchase the Oracle product or are you trying to do it with some other companies product?

And when you say it doesn't product any positive results ... that is meaningless. What does it do? What doesn't it do? And are there any error messages logged?
