hello,
do any of the regulars here use the oracle online library? I was browsing it earlier today and it looks like a pretty good deal. It's about $300 per year and it has around 400 online courses. They even have CBT's (self study software) - even these look decent...but I've never heard anyone giving reviews or opinions on this stuff.

Is this a decent substitute for something like a good university course or is it better as an enhancement to the univ. course?

I'm eager to see what other's have experienced with this. I'm really frustrated at the complete lack of good advanced IT training at the universities in Houston, TX. It is really amazing how they focus only on microsoft! I found out a few weeks ago that MS signed a deal with the university system of TX! This explains a lot!! Basically, MS gives the universities cheap software - the catch is they focus on MS. You won't believe how many IT consultants here have no clue about unix or oracle......they wouldn't last a week in NYC!

Thanks,
