Dunno. What I do now is to check the man pages for EVERY f/s in EVERY Linux version. There are some minor differences between them and it is important to become fully conversant with whatever one is gonna be using before the formats start.

As my wife always says: "after moving in is not the time to lift the carpets and polish the floor boards. We do that BEFORE."
