Thanks Roger.

I was already planning on going to the latest patchset, if available, for 4.3.3. Direct upgrade is not an option because customer is already live on 8.0.5 and do not want to upgrade to 8.0.6 just to do direct upgrade to 9.2.

Problem is that I cannot test the upgrade on a separate AIX server. Customer only has one AIX server so I have to do everything next to live 8.0.5 Production...that is why I am being extra cautious.

I was actually more interested to find out if, 1) Applying newer OS patches for 9.2 will in any way affect 8.0.5. 2) Installing 9.2 in a separate home beside 8.0.5 causes any problems (minor or major) on AIX. I have a test W2K box with 8.0.5, 8.1.7 and 9.2 installed but I am not sure about AIX.

TIA Regards
