Rauf,

I would recommend that you goto the latest patchset for AIX 4.3.3 which is Oracle 9.2.0.3.0 rather than 9.2.0.1.0 and secondly make sure the latest O/S patches are applied to your server or else you will have problems installing Oracle 9.2.

By the way you need to be on Oracle 8.0.6 to do a direct upgrade to 9.2.
