We are looking into the purchase, can't tell for sure if we can get the money, but it seems like the only way left to try this.
On a different note though I am beginning to think it is something wrong with the HTP package as I am having problems doing even trivial things with it.
I was wondering if there is a way I can reinstall just that stuff without redoing the whole server? I am sure there is but I am still at the beginning of the learning curve on this.
