 For the future. Both IE and Netscape are kind of dumb when downloading large files, since they save them in temporary location first and then move them to the target destination. Why? I do not know ...
 Anyway, a nice program for Windows Wackget downloads things directly to the required destination, and has pause/resume.  Under linux, use WGET - a command line tool to download stuff. With Oracle, you'll need to load your browser cookie file into WGET, because Oracle wants you to register first and won't let you get stuff without that. There is a "load cookies" option there. Overall, WGET route requires some learning, but at times it is almost a life saver ...
