Unfortunately, we have the system architecture fine for what we have right now. But the immediate future means that we will be over 10TB in the next six months, and over 20TB in the next year or year and a half. This all assumes that we can put an infrastructure in place to handle the data volume.

In the end, none of this really answers my original question. Am I the only one who is building a database in the double digit terabyte range and is looking for a good solution to backing that database up?
