You didn't. You asked a question about which view tempfiles were listed in, which was answered... and the thread then moved on to related matters.

That is a statement of general principle, not obviously specifics related to your situation.

I think the concern of others in this thread is that if you want a private chat about your specific situation which has no more relevance to other posters than my sister's cooking, use email. If you use a public forum, expect to get answers to your questions (which you did) and then some fuzzy stuff around the issue in general, for the benefit of all.

And *in general* it is extremely bad practice to get into the habit of backing up online redo logs. And *in general* the backup of tempfiles is not recommended, nor possible.

I'm glad you have a solution that works for you. It wouldn't be suitable for, oh, about 70% of Oracle users.
