You know I keep reading about Oracle losing market share, however, SQL Server jobs pay alot less than Oracle jobs, plus its usually lower end databases. I know DB2 is supposed to be good, but there really are not that many jobs for DB2 people. So I find this hard to believe.

Remember market share is not that simple. A SQL Server DBA sent me an article about SQL Server taking over the market. What he did not mention is that you can sell lots of copies of SQL Server for whatever they charge and still not create as many DBA or Developer jobs since one Oracle license could be a much larger project.
