There is a post on comp.databases.oracle.marketplace looking for an entry level DBA in New Hampshire. Pay sucks, but you could take the job. Get 2 years experience and quit for a $60k job somewhere else.

There is no such thing as a 10 year Java programmer. It hasnt been around that long. There are still quite a few java jobs in the DC area.... Hopefully the economy will pick up next year. The training programs really exaggerate their ability to place you and are ridiculously expensive.

can you get actually programming experience at the company you are at? If you can stay there. Then look when the economy picks up.

Entry level jobs do not come very often..... "Chris Aiello" <caiell02_at_comcast.net> wrote in message news:6DTg8.259561$Aw2.20749749_at_bin7.nnrp.aus1.giganews.com...
