This indicates that the number of latch lists corresponding to number of
db block buffers is not enough. Normally it should not be a problem.
Check in v$latch_children , if the load on cache buffer chain latch is
unevenly distributed.



Either relocate hot objects to different tablespace(datafiles) or
increase the parameter _db_block_hash_buckets
