I am just learning Oracle. I can't seem to find any material that explain clearly how all the parts of Oracle fit together. After installing Oracle 8i, I see several folders in the Oracle menu each with several programs.

It is obvious that this is a very intense program. I am just trying to understand how everything works. I have been downloading the different parts off of Oracle's web page. After much searching, I have yet to find some overview how all the packages fit together.

Is there information somewhere which explains or better yet has a graphical picture showing where all the pieces connect and when the different pieces are used.

I am learning a lot about how good I will feel using Oracle and what it can do for me. It would be easier if I could get the big picture on the various aspects of Oracle. if there's any information available in regards to this matter, I would appreciate it
