Hello!

We have an IBM RS/600 cluster, 3 nodes: two H50 servers and one S70. We are running IBM AIX 4.3.2, HACMP 4.2.2 and Oracle 7.3.4.4 parallel server. We've bought Oracle 8.1.7,HACMP 4.4 (Oracle 8i installation requierment is HACMP 4.3 or higher) and now we are planning upgrade to Oracle 8.1.7.

So, the question is: DOES ANYBODY HAVE RUN OPS 7.3.4 for AIX WITH HACMP 4.4?
Oracle says that OPS 7.3.4 has been sertified for following HACMP versions: 4.1.1, 4.2.1, 4.2.2 or 4.3.
So we don't know if we can even startup 7.3.4 database in parallel(shared) mode after upgrading to HACMP 4.4. If not, then we must migrate to Oracle 8.1.7 very quickly. If we can run them together, then we can test OPS 8.1.7, still running OPS 7.

Any experience with other similar configurations on AIX (may be diferent RS/6000 models) will be appreciate.

Thanks in advance,
