VNI-2015 : Authentication error

I try to execute a job in the Enterprise Management Console (brand new installation of 8.1.7 on Windows 2000).

I have the Management Server running ok, and the Agent also.

I created a Windows 2000 domain user "DOMAIN\OEM" in the "Active Directory Users and Computers", and have assigned the in "Domain Security Policy" -
"Security Settings" - "Local Policies" - "User Rights Assignment" - "Log on
as a batch job" to "DOMAIN\OEM".

In the "Oracle Enterprise Manager Console" - "System" - ¨"Preferences" -
"Preferred Credentials", I have of course entered the username/password for
the node server.domain (and also <DEFAULT> since I'm on the same machine). I tried with the user in the form "OEM", "DOMAIN\OEM" (and even tried
"OEM_at_DOMAIN").

Everytime the job starts executing, I have the "VNI-2015 : Authentication error".

Has anybody experience with this, and some clue ? (although I'm thinking of getting rid of all this and do the things manually, without wizards and slow interfaces)
