troubles with dbstart in oracle 8.1.6

Hallo all

I have troubles to start "dbstart" in our Oracle server that works under RedHat 6.2
I have checked all shell variables but they seem to be ok:

ORACLE_HOME=/oracle
ORACLE_SID=ora6
ORA_NLS33=/oracle/ocommon/nls/admin/data

If I start dbstart I got the following message: [oracle_at_db bin]$ dbstart

Database "ora6" warm started.
