This post brings up some open source or shareware titles. . . . .How do they compare with Oracle 8i, DB2 and MS SQL Server? I am searching for a database that can handle and search multigigabyte  video and audio files. From the posts
in this forum I've gathered that I should only consider DB2 and Oracle. Anyone have some guidance for a non-DBA?
