Working for a consulting firm at the time of certification, my company really wanted me to get certified, so they could then charge more to the clients. They gave me $1000 bonus for each test ($5000 for all 5), $2000 bonus for total completion, and then a $2000 yearly raise for completion. So $7000 total bonus, plus $2000 raise, that's right about $9000. They also were willing to pay for any training (which I did not need), and then also paid for the test themselves.
