SQLLDR80 can't find control file

I am running Oracle Enterprise 8.0.5 on NT 4.0 w/SP3. When I run SQLLDR80, I keep getting and error that it can't find the control file. I have tried these and other command line parameters without success:

control=imp1029.ctl
control=c:\orant\database\imp1029.ctl
control=\orant\database\imp1029.ctl

Can anyone see what I am doing wrong?? Thanks in advance.....
