Y2K Precautions w/Oracle

Do any of you production DBAs out there have any specific plans for handling the year 2000 rollover? I'm trying to come up with plans for dealing with the calendar change.

For example, do any of you plan to shutdown your Oracle instances before the turn of the century (prior to midnight) and take cold backups. Then leave the instances down until after the clock has rolled past midnight?

Or in Y2K testing, has anyone found any special situations where it would be good to have the database down while the system clock moves to Jan 1,2000?

Or do you plan to just go on with business as usual, since Oracle says it's y2k compliant.

Thanks,
Gordon
