Sorry, I posted a similar question before reading your topic. I've
heard that there is a change in non-standard SQL syntax that may affect
embedded SQL in applications. I don't have the specifics at this time,
but may get them before Christmas. I'm communicating with a team that
has just upgraded within the version 8 realm. Not the internet version
though. I'll post when I get more detail. See my post about massaging
makefiles to find new Oracle libraries. I've done an upgrade within
version 7 before.
