If you doesn't have objects specific to 8.x (that are not
available in 7.34), you can do the following:
- in 8.0 database, execute script (as sys or internal)
$ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/catexp7.sql, this will create
views for v7 export utility
- use v7's export utility against v8 database where you just
created that views -- v7's exp should vork as if it is a v7
database
- use import utility specific to destination database (v7 in your case)
to import file just created. You can import it into v7 db by v7's
import or into v8 db by v8's import.
Note that this can be done only if you have no objects/types/constructs
in your v8's schema that are not supported on v7. If no, you're in trouble
converting your application "back" to v7 (downgrade).
