DB Export Between Versions?

Hi,

I need to find out if there is any way to use the Export utility from one version of Oracle server (ie. v 8.0) to export the database structures such that they can be imported using the IMPxx utility in Oracle server version 7.34?

If anybody has any knowledge of this, it would be really appreciated. I tend to think this is not possible, but it has been asked of me and if it was possible it would be really beneficial.
