Re: Uninstall Oracle 8 Server (for NT) ?

Hi Pithly,

• stop and disable all Oracle services with the NT util. (donīt know the name because I use a german windows)
• after reboot you can be sure that no Oracle service is running
• uninstall each component with Oracle installer (because of the services...)
• delete the whole Oracle directory (like C:\ORACLE)
• start regedit and delete the directory ORACLE in ...LocalMachine\Software

otherwise a new installation will use the old entries and configurations
