Reporting Tools

Hi,

We are in the process of evaluating a good reporting tool to go against Sybase/Oracle/SQL Server databases.

Some of the tools in consideration are
Actuate's e-reporting suite 4
Segate Info 7
Oracle Reports
Sybase InfoMaker
..

Are there any sites where an independent organization has made some kind of research/comparison among the tools that currently exist in the market ?
Are there any newsgroups for Reporting Tools ?

Any pointers in this direction will be greatly appreciated.
