Hi,

    Be careful since not everything should go on RAID 5 because of performance considerations. At a minimum the redos and archive logs should be on separate disk drives (the archives should be mirrored the redos don't have to be). RAID 5 buys you data integrity at the expense of performance. You must have data integrity, but by moving some things off of RAID 5 you can have integrity AND performance.
