Hi all,

I wanna install oracle on linux and having problems.

1st) i know i need to customize the memory settings and i 'think' i need to config SHMMAX, SHMMIN, SHMMNI in shmparam.h and SEMMNS, SEMMNI, SEMMSL are in semaphore.h. Please confirm.

2nd) i know i need to compile and setup the kernel, please provide info on this

3rd) if i already setup my linux and i'ven't created the new mount pts. how do i do that without distroying the existing info?

Thanks in advance.

Kevin
