BTW a workshop for OOPSLA '99 is planned on "Java and Databases: Persistence Options". I hope that folks will consider participating: it would be nice to see what experiences people have had with Java with OODBs and RDBs/ORDBs. Personally, I'd like to see some product comparisons and benchmarks :-)
