No it's not! READ THE TEXT ABOVE. It specifically says "IN SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING". You are using an argument that involves numbers outside of this context to prove a point that was not made in the FIRST place.

Start MAKING sense with your own text. More important, read and THINK, don't use the 30 second TV attention span to reply on the Usenet. Or suffer the consequences...

Really? When was the last time you saw "end-users" coding business apps, front-ends for db's and games? Are you seriously trying to tell us that the "end-user" that buys a PC off the shelf to play games and throws in a copy of VB just in case he/she ever needs it or "the kid might need it" is the force that drives compiled languages use?

For the sake of everybody's sanity, stop blurting out the sort of moron argument used by journos with less knowledge of this market than the mouse they can hardly push!
